Kate Bornstein calls herself a “gender outlaw.” Many years of her life were spent as a man who was a high-ranking Scientologist. Now, at the age of 64, Bornstein is a gender theorist, anti-bullying advocate, author, and performance artist. Bornstein will be giving a free performance and talk at the Brookens Auditorium at the University of Illinois Springfield tonight at 4pm.
