Marshall Crenshaw + Bottle Rockets Play Springfield Friday

CrenshawPicMichigan native Marshall Crenshaw hasn’t stopped playing music since he rose to fame in the 1980s. It’s been a career that spans just over 30 years – he’s also been an author, actor, radio host, and music producer.

He played Buddy Holly in the movie La Bamba and portrayed John Lennon in Beatlemania. His hit ‘Someday, Someway’ hit the top 40 billboard charts. Crenshaw has a unique sound that has been linkened to past rockabilly stars. He’s joined by the Bottle Rockets tomorrow night at the Hoogland. Rachel Otwell brings us this interview with him:

Great interview. I’m a long-time MC fan in his hometown area of Detroit suburbs.
