The Jacksonville Symphony orchestra is wrapping up its Golden anniversary season in style. This Saturday evening, the Symphony will perform a special work commissioned for the event.
Illinois College Music Professor Dr. Timothy Kramer has written a piece called “All In Golden Measure” and the symphony will perform it this weekend for the first time. Kramer tells us about tackling this special assignment:

The performance is Saturday night at Rammelkamp Chapel at 7:30 p.m.
Kramer will give a pre-concert lecture at 6:30 that evening to discuss his work.
