On Friday, NPR news executives announced that the network’s mid-day talk show, Talk of the Nation, would cease production this summer. Replacing TOTN will be Here and Now, a daily show which will now be co-produced with NPR. David Folkenflick reports.

Talk of the Nation is currently heard from 1-3 p.m. weekdays on WUIS.  Here and Now can be heard from 11 a.m. to 12 noon.
