Sunshine weekThis is Sunshine Week, meant to call attention to transparency in government.    The Attorney General of Illinois Lisa Madigan has a Public Access Bureau… designed to make sure governmental bodies are following laws such as the Freedom of Information Act and the Open Meetings Act.  According to a report released this week, more than 3400 cases were handled in that office.   The Attorney General’s Chief of Staff  Ann  Spillane spoke with us about the numbers and changes in public access laws…
