Urbana Gambling Machines Hit $1M Mark

An American Legion Post in Urbana is the first in the state to bring in more than $1 million in monthly revenue from legalized video gambling.

The Champaign News-Gazette reports that last month gamblers at the Legion Post 71 fed $1.07 million into the post’s five video poker terminals.

The state legalized video gambling terminals last summer. The state takes 30 percent of gamblers’ losses.
