Author Discusses The Wicked War

wickedAn event this week at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum will focus on what some call a forgotten war. The Mexican American War in the 1840’s not only changed the relationship between the U-S and Mexico, it impacted political careers, including Lincoln’s. Amy Greenberg’s book The Wicked War examines the conflict from that perspective as well as the human toll.

Greenberg will be in Springfield Wednesday night at the Presidential Museum for a book signing and discussion.  She spoke with us about what led her to take on the project:

Amy Greenberg, author of The Wicked War, will be at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum Wednesday night for a book signing and discussion.  The event begins at 6:30.  Before then she holds a teacher talk session.  All the events are free to attend.
