Papers Of Abraham Lincoln Receives Grant

Daniel Stowell

A grant will help a Lincoln research group make more of his writings available to the public.  Daniel Stowell is the Director and Editor of the Papers of Abraham Lincoln.  He says the 300-thousand dollar grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities will support staff that is going through Lincoln’s political and personal documents.  For example, he says the writings date back long before Lincoln was a politician…
