A bullet found in the Glenwood High School parking lot this morning led to a lockdown of that campus and the adjacent Glenwood Elementary School. Authorities searched the property.
An email to parents gave an all clear signal in the noon hour.
Later, school officials say a student came forward and claimed ownership of the ammnition. The school says the student indicated he left the bullet outside to avoid taking it inside the building. An investigation is continuing.
Last month, a shell casing was found in the Glenwood Middle School. that also prompted a lockdown and search.
At it was scary at both the middle school and high school lockdowns.
