High School Football Player Dies After Practicing

Grief counselors have been called in to help students at Hall High School deal with the death of one of the football players at the north-central Illinois school.
Police in Spring Valley tell WGLC Radio (http://bit.ly/qKFJXi ) that the team was 20 minutes into its practice Wednesday when 17-year-old Daniel Lule collapsed during a non-contact agility drill.
The teen later was pronounced dead at Saint Margaret’s Hospital. The Bureau County Coroner’s Office is working to determine his cause of death.
Counselors will be on hand at the school Thursday and Friday to help students, parents and teachers.
