Illinois Man Takes Crosses To Aurora, Colorado

Greg Zanis recently travelled to Aurora, Colorado, with crosses he made. He left them as a memorial to the lives lost in the movie theatre shooting there last week. Zanis, who’s from Aurora, Illinois, started making wooden memorial crosses over a decade ago after his father-in-law was murdered. It’s now his way of paying respect and offering a memorial for communities where tragedies have struck. Rachel Otwell spoke with him about it:
