UIS Professor Richard Gilman-Opalsky’s Writings on “Spectacular Capitalism”

Richard Gilman-Opalsky is assistant Professor of Political Philosophy at UIS and an author writing about political action. His latest book, Spectacular Capitalism: Guy Debord And the Practice of Radical Philosophy was recently released. Gilman-Opalsky has been keeping an eye on the Occupy Wallstreet movement and the Springfield incarnation.  WUIS’ Rachel Otwell spoke with Gilman-Opalsky on his latest book “Spectacular Capitalism: Guy Debord And the Practice of Radical Philosophy” and current political action in Springfield and around the nation:
